So, 4 of my 8 ‘maids and I went Bridesmaid or Best Man dress shopping and they all loved Bill Levkoff dresses, specifically style 153. The dress is sold as a halter top, but most of them want to alter it to be strapless. Does anybody have experience with doing this? I’m assuming it would be no problem, the dress looked to me like it would be an easy alteration, but I always have to ask.
Also, I also really love 561 and 157. Any pics of your own maids in any of these 3 dresses would be wonderful, and thanks for helping an indecisive bride make a decision. 😉

I love 157 – it sort of goes with the style of your wedding dress! I think it would look awesome in photos =o)

I like the last two! The bottom almost matches the bottom style of your dress!

@MadameTussaud: That’s what I thought too, but the girls were so excited over the first one that my ‘maid who tried on 157 didn’t really get a chance to show it off so I barely remember how it looked in person. Honestly, I think I might have to go back. Sigh.
EDIT: Here’s an idea of ‘mix and match’, just ignore the colors. I have 8 girls, and there’s a dozen+ chiffon Levkoff cocktail/knee-length dresses they could all choose from…

If the ladies want a strapless dress, go with #157. Unless you’re planning on having a professional do the alterations, that’s actually a deceptively large job. Especially for 8 dresses. That just sounds like a lot of extra work, when the two dresses are so simmilar.
