I love Bill Levkoff dresses too and just found out that Macy’s carries them in their bridal department for WAY less money!  Apparently they’re running a Black Friday sale this weekend. It’s worth a phone call 🙂

My girls wore floor length Bill Levkoff dresses.  We orderd from Perfect Bridesmaid Dress and the dresses were about $140 each plus shipping.  The dresses arrived quickly and were beautiful.  The site has a brick and mortar store in the SF Bay Area, and it turned out (after we ordered the dresses) that my sister knew the owner.  They were very responsive and answered all of out questions.  You can either place the order or set up a link that your ladies can sign in and pay for their own dress.  I let the girls pick their own style, so it worked out well that they could place their orders individually.  To save on shipping you can have them all shipped together to one location versus sent to each bridesmaid.  Hope this helps!  Here is a guest photo of the dresses….

I’ve got 5 girls in 4 states, too and we did BL floor length dresses.  I picked them out at a store near my hometown (where wedding will be).  Each of the girls had to call in their measurements to the store and pay over the phone.  The store would not place the order until they had all 5 measurements in.  Once they come in, the dresses will be shipped to each of the girls houses so they can get alterations done wherever they live.

So far it’s been a seemless process, and this (in my experience) is pretty much the norm.

The dresses I chose ranged from $196 to $230 (this was with a 15% discount).

I bought a Bill Levkoff dress at a shop that’s local to me, but was different from where some of the bridesmaids got theirs. I’ve always found it to have reasonable prices and it’s free shipping over $100! Also, it’s in MN so there’s no tax on clothing (which might be different depending where you are shipping it to, actually..). It’s called The Wedding Shoppe and it’s crazy easy to order online. I’ve ordered two that way and it’s worked great!

my BMs bought their dresses from net bride and we were really pleased. They are the exact same designer dress but at a reduced cost. I also bought my going away dress which was a bill levkov from netbride and was really pelased. The sizing guide was accurate, the dress came when it said it would, the price was great and it was the same dress!

Most bridal shops have told me that the best way to order them is together to make sure that they are all cut from the same cloth.  It’s rare but possible that there can be slight color variations otherwise.

I totally loved Bill Levkoff but ended up finding there were some other designers with the same style and fabrics which I liked as well, particularly Alfred Angelo and Bari Jay. Maybe those designers are easier to find around you?

I ended up going with Bari Jay dress.

    This is the dress style:

And this will be the dress color:

(oh and it came to $175.. not too much over your budget)

Always ask if they can give you a discount!! Often they will if you ask. 🙂

I was thinking the same thing..to save money, I would have the girls go with DB instead of what I orig liked which was BL. BUT…BL is a much nicer material and make of dresses, they just look better than DB dresses. Hope that helps.
