I am going to be using the same vendor. I haven’t arranged anything yet, but the one thing I do know is that you can return unused bottles.

@mstellah:  I don’t know how far Skokie is from you, but we used Schaefer’s (http://schaefers.com/) for our wedding and they were awesome. They took anything back that wasn’t opened already or put on ice, and the guy who worked with us (Dan, I think) was SO HELPFUL. I don’t remember the logistics because my mom handled most of that, but I’m pretty sure they dropped everything off at the venue the day before? They also let us do a tasting of all the wines we had (no charge), and gave us a congratulatory bottle of champagne before the wedding, haha. Loved them.

@xstine515:  I just looked on their website and it looks like they have free delivery, free glassware, free pick up, and a return policy. That’s pretty darn exciting!

We did Binny’s for our engagement party – was perfect! We had a LOT leftover because I was really nervous about running out and they accepted it back perfectly. It was cheap too! We considered going to Indiana, to save on tax but decided it wasn’t worth the time/effort. If you have lots of help around your wedding time though, it may be for you guys!

With our caterer to save money we were allowed to buy wine for the dinner tables. We bought our wine at Binny’s one of the reps helped us buy reasonably priced wine.

With Binny’s you get 5% off cases of wine and/or 12 bottles of wine doesn’t have to be the same brand. You can return unused and unchilled wine.

Costco I heard you can also return the wine too.

we are using binny’s. they deliver for just $20 and will buy back all unopened, unused alcohol at the same price they sold it to you. they don’t really give you much break over the regular retail price, though.
