my friend did actually.. Defiantly i noticed more vibrant color and i guess length to it

but; yes there is a but to it..i was gona use it too..i looked alot on google..and found out that it can actually cause your body hair to grow as well..like on chin or throughout the body.. so before using it; ask for a doctors advice first. biotin is good for nails too i heard but because of growth hair i DIDNT USE IT….users said it worked for me, and some said it did not work for me at all…every body reaction is different

i take biotin. i definitely think my nails and hair grow more than without it. but i also tend to take better care of myself in general when i’m taking vitamins, so it could just be the placebo effect.

I take it for my hair and nails directed by a dermatologist. I don’t notice any extra hair growth anywhere else. The dosage is different for everyone but I take 10,000 mcg.  I believe as low as 5,000 works for some people.  I buy it at walmart for like $6 for 5,000 capsules and I take 2…

Just note that biotin will not make your hair thicker but stronger and healthier

I have been taking biotin and prenatal vitaminsfor about two months now. I have seen some extra growth (not a lot). However my hair is much more fuller ans healthier. I would recommend, but wouldn’t count on extreme hair growth. Hope this helps

I take a B-vitamin complex that has biotin in it, and I’ve noticed improvement in my hair’s texture–it’s a lot smoother now. My nails are a little stronger, but they don’t grow any faster. My hair has always been fast-growing, so no change there.

I wouldn’t take it.  It gave me really bad cystic acne.

I’ve never tried biotin but I use the phytophanere for hair and nails. I noticed a lot more hair growth in the 3-4 months that i took it as opposed to my normal hair growth.

I take it.  It makes my nails WAY stronger and they’re longer than ever.  My hair is noticably fuller and getting longer now.  It takes awhile.

I have been taking it and it has helped my hair and nails a lot. I have really fine, brittle hair and extremely brittle nails and I have recently noticed both are much stronger and grow out more because they aren’t breaking as much. And no, no weird body hair growth.

I’ve been taking it for a little over 2 years now (5000 mg/day) and have noticed a significant difference.  My hair is stronger and grows quite a bit more than it used to(same with my nails).  I didn’t experience the body hair growth nor the acne issue.  I could understand the body hair growth, but I’m not sure how the acne thing could be connected (but then again I’m not a doc).  I’d try it, worse case…you stop 🙂

I’m not gonna lie, my leg hair grew faster than before, but it didn’t grow hair in any thicker or in any weird places that it wasn’t before.

I’m taking it right now.. and while my hari hasn’t grown, i definetely notice it is shinir and it looks healthier even tho I flat iron it almost everyday.. so I don’t know if it’s gonna help it grow but it’s making it healthier 🙂

also would like too add that i haven’t seen any weird side effects… i was taking pre-natal gummnies for a month and I stopped because it made me gain weight!!! i googled and it says if you’re not pregnant that pre-natal vitamins can cause sudden weight gain.. it helps your hair grow but the weight gain wasn’t worth it for me.. since I stopped I lost the pounds i gained while on it
