I’m hoping you can help me decide on a veil. I love the simplicity of the birdcage veil. It’s so sweet and elegant and cute! But I can’t deny the thrill of having Mr. Chu ‘unwrap’ me from a traditional veil so to speak. This is the link to my dress http://tinyurl.com/68ueq3z What would you ladies choose? Or would you just go for a large flowered headpiece?

I would like to see a traditional veil with that dress, are you having the blue or another color?

@tksjewelry:Honestly, I’m not sure. I’m not a huge fan of the colored veils, but then again they’ve been extra bright and just not my taste.

@Pikachu42: I wasn’t thinking a colored veil just a regular veil, but I am curious if your dress was in blue cause I love that blue.

@Pikachu42: I think, with such a big grand dress, a birdcage veil doesn’t quite match the style as a more traditional veil would. It is such a pretty dress!

I usually love the birdcages, but with this dress I would totally go for a veil. Maybe even the catherdal length ones, those are very elegant!

Yea, I agree with PP’s, a birdcage doesn’t match the style of that dress.
I’d go with a modern simple veil with no edging, one or two layer. Elbow or fingertip
I wouldn’t do a flowered headpiece either. There is so much going on with the dress that adding anything more would be very overpowering.
