I recently purchased the blush colored Divinia by Maggie S. i am at the fork in the road about whether i should wear a veil or a birdcage. I have always loved the birdcage look and i also feel that my choice of dress color already makes me different and unique so i should continue with my headpiece as well. My mom wants me to wear a traditional veil but i am not sure i am totally sold on the idea. if i do get a traditional veil then i should i try to get one in the same color as my dress (blush) or should i go with a blinged out birdcage?!?!?
Here is a picture of the dress. Thanks glitter86

Post a pic of your dress here so as soon as bees open this thread they could envision the dress with either veil 🙂

@welljack2014: There’s so much volume down below that I think keeping it balanced with a simple and light headpiece is best – I think if you like the idea of going birdcage, go birdcage! That’s how I felt and I LOVED how my look turned out. (DH loved the birdcage veil too!)

Since you love birdcage, I say go for it! 🙂

@welljack2014: You could do both options. Do a veil for the wedding and then change over to a fabulous birdcage. YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL! 🙂 Good luck!

I’d go with a really simple bridcage

I prefer birdcage veils with either more vinatage looking or more simple dresses as more of a statement piece. Your dress is very modern and has alot going on already so if it was me I think I would pick a blush colored veil. That is just my opinion though!

I have an awesome rum pink veil that would go great with that actually! It’s fingertip length (oval I think?) and raw edged. I bought it because I was obsessed with another Bee’s rum pink veil but in the end I didn’t like it with my ivory dress and hair/skin color. PM me if you’re interested!
PS- I don’t like birdcage veils with dresses that have any type of “weight” at the bottom. I feel like it puts your shape off balance. Birdcage veils look the best with column dresses, IMO. That being said, if you are dying to have a bird cage I’m sure you will rock it! 🙂
