@MangoLover4Life:  Most people attach theirs with a hot glue gun, I’m planning to do the same. If you still want the security and look of stitching, I suggest folding the attachment end of the tulle over a few times into a thin strip and then either gluing it into the folds of a thin piece of fabric or whip stiching it onto a thin fold of fabric, then sewing it onto whatever you are attaching the veil to. If you just want it to bunch together to form around your head, this tutorial is pretty good:

MangoLover4Life:  I just made my tulle birdcage veil. I didn’t go through every tiny little hole in the tulle, I stichted about every centimeter all the way around.

Like in this tutorial


I gathered the stichting until it was about 1.5 inches wide then used the gathered edge to sew onto a rhinestone brooch and hair clip.

It was really easy do to and I’m satisfied with how it came out.
