Hi Fellow Brides! Just wanted to share you with you all a great find! I have been searching for birdcages to use as center pieces for my reception, I found this adorable idea on pinterest and fell in love :
However, at most craft stores (I’ve looked at Michaels and Hobby Lobby) birdcages alone are $24! Today my mom and I were shopping at Beals Outlet and found multi-colored birdcages in different shapes and sizes. The small ones were only $7.99 and the bigger ones were only $12.99. Monday’s are “senior day” so anyone 50 and over can get 15% off their purchase, my mom is 55 so the little birdcages only ended up costing us $6.79, and the bigger ones around $11.The cashier also told me that on Friday’s anyone under 49 can get 15% off. Here is a picture of the bircages we purchased:
I plan on painting them an antique white to give them a more vintage feel. I also liked how they were all a little different, so each centerpiece will be unique. Also, while shopping at Beals I came across these awesome hanging mason jars for only $2.99..which ended up only costing $2.54 with the discount. I was planning on buying mason jars and making these myself but I probably could not even make them for that cheap!
I plan on putting flowers in the mason jars and hanging them on shepherd hooks as our aisle decor..another Pinterest idea of course! 🙂 So if you are a bride searching for similar decor take a tip from me and head to your local Beals Outlet!
