If you don’t have any bleeding during the last week of the pack, you should get a pregnancy test.

@missashley884:  I’ve had it start right at the beginning of the next pack, but like mightywombat said if it doesn’t start by then you should take a test.

I used to get mine when I started the next pack of active pills.

@missashley884:  There was a time a few months after I started a new pill where I didn’t for like 3 periods. I was freakin out! Also, if I get way stressed, I mean breaking out in hives stressed, I skip. Now I am used to my pill and I get it the last day of my non active pills and it lasts about 2 or 3 days and then stops, but is very light.

I say get a test if you are worried about it. It will calm your mind – if you aren’t worried then just wait and see. You could ask your doctor too. It just all depends on your body and the pill.

Good Luck : )

I would test just for a piece of mind.  Though I will say there were a couple of brands where I didn’t have any bleeding on the week of inactive pills.

I’ve been on the pill for over 10 years. 99% of the time I get a period during the 4th week/inactive pills. EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE I don’t. The first few times, I freaked out and took a pregnancy test. Now I know my pill and my body, I know that I am consistant with taking the active pills, that it is highly unlikely that I’m pregnant. But not to worry, it is normal and happens. Take the pregancy test for peace of mind!

Every once in a while when I am really stress I will skip my period (even though I have the inactive pills week).  It is usually when I am really stressed.

Take a test for your piece of mind though.  But worrying you might be pregnant may only make your period even more late.
