I’ve heard that relaxing your face (particularly you jaw) is the best thing to do while pushing b/c the pelvic floor/perinium is “connected” to your jaw so when you’re jaw is tense.. it’s tense and the muscles in the vagina being relaxed helps to prevent tearing.
