Beautiful baby! My sympathies —  I also ended up with pre-eclampsia though I had a rare form of postpartum kind, about five days after the birth. I can relate to some of your stuff though my babe was already out by that point so the only one they were stressing about was me. Mag sulphate is not fun. They wouldn’t let me get up to pee — had to have a catheter. I don’t remember much of those couple of days. I felt so horrible though before going to emergency that it was a relief to have my symptoms taken seriously. The mag doped me up pretty good but I felt worse prior, like my head was going to explode. Plus I nearly kicked the doctor in the face when he did my reflexes since my brain was swollen.

best wishes to you/yours!

@BeccaBee83:  I felt horrible when they first put me on it. I almost passed out and threw up, but I think that’s because they lowered my Bridal Party so quickly. Looking at all of our pics, I look so bloated and tired from it! It was definitely the worst part. I couldn’t labor or deliver naturally like I had hoped, and I was stuck in bed for the whole time.
