I have. Ive been on it for about 10 years (all different brands) and my period was a mess last year while I planned the wedding. I was spotting, missed a couple months, etc. I honestly  believe it was the stress and my crazy eating habits.

If you are nervous you can always call your doctor.

I’ve never taken this pill, but I’ve had plenty of spotting on other ones. As long as you have taken all the pills correctly, you did not have unprotected sex just because you were spotting. It is very unlikely that you are pregnant, and yes, if you get a normal period in 7 days, then that pretty much means for certain that you aren’t pregnant. This is probably happening because of stress, which can be a normal reaction.

ive had spotting on the pill before. went to the doctor for peace of mind and he pointed out it was also a sign of chlamydia (which thank god i didnt have)

sometimes it just happens. you didnt have unprotected sex, although bear in mind the pill isnt foolproof

I got pregnant taking the pill perfectly with no weird spotting, so pregnancy could be in the cards regardless of symptoms if you are sexually active, even on the pill. I got what I thought was a regular period, but was in fact implantation bleeding. As a result, I didn’t know i was pregnant until I missed the 2nd period. Can’t hurt to test the day before your period is due, just in case.

I am currently pregnant, but about a month before my wedding, my period was VERY late. Like, 15+ days late….I was so regular you could set a watch to it. But my job was coming to an end and I was having to find another, we had just bought a house, and I was also still doing a lot of last minute planning. It was just stress. I didn’t get pregnant for about 4 more months.  (However, I was not on BC at the time, but I still think that stress could do it.)

I started spotting between periods after about 8 years on the pill, so it can definitely happen. Sadly, that became the norm for me every month, even after switching to a different pill so I eventually decided to just go off of it (we planned to TTC later in the year, anyway).

The spotting isn’t fun but your pills are probably still working just fine.

@Dolcebabe:  Wait and see if you are even late.  I spot occasionally and then I take a pregnancy testif I am late just to be sure.  No accidents yet.

I’ve had spotting issues since wedding planning (didn’t feel this stressed while finishing my senior thesis for my degree, but I guess I didn’t feel like I was making my family hate me then, either)

I haven;t taken Aleese, but I think it is what the docs switch you to if you were on Avianne (which I was and they switched me to Orsythia). I get spotting with this pill, and now it has been happening earlier and earlier in the pill pack.

I think it is just stress. I’ve also changed my diet and been exercising (walking) a lot more so perhaps that is messing with it too. I wouldn’t panic. It sounds normal.
