@Bobbys-Girl:  Happy Happy Birthday to you! Your new ring is gorgeous. I love the setting, and the center stone looks so pretty and sparkly. It looks beautiful on you! (PS: I am a big fan of your blue diamond engagement ring, too. It’s beautiful!)

I love to spam my sparkly beauties everywhere — ha, ha! This is my most recent, for our 22nd anniversary this past October. And I just got the matching band about a month or a little less ago. It’s extra sentimental to me because it is for our anniversary, but also because I have always wanted a heart diamond. So this is like the heart stone I wanted from way back in the beginning of our engagement.

@Bobbys-Girl:  Awww! Thanks so much for your kind words. *cyberhugs* It took me a while to realize that I have a deep love for intricate and unusual settings, and that I love seeing a bit more metal than most people enjoy. It’s funny how it was a challenge to wade through all the opinions out there about what I was “supposed” to want or what is trendy, etc. to figure out true personal preferences. I have a few ideas for upcoming right hand rings, and I want to complete “sets” for my zircon ring and yellow sapphire ring. But I find myself feeling “done” in terms of wedding finger jewelry. Who knows if that feeling will last or not? I am such a magpie, and my hubby doesn’t care if I switch things up in terms of wedding jewelry.

My hubby and I have been together for around 30 years and married for 22. We were engaged for a while before we got married because we both wanted to finish graduate school.
