- Wedding: September 2014
Before I start, I have got to say that this has been the worst wedding planning experience by far for me….at this point I am done and just want to get rid of everyone…..Here is the story.
So I have/had a childhood best friend who for the past couple years we, more her so than me has distanced herself. Regardless I still consider her my best friend and so I asked her to be my Maid/Matron of Honor. She calls me to tell me she moved to LA and doesn’t want to commit to being my Maid/Matron of Honor. I left it at that and asked my other childhood friend and she said of course! Well now 2 days before my bridals shower she tells me she won’t be going because she has too much on her plate right now. I sent her a message trying to be supportive and she blew me off with a shady text. I’m completly saddened and stressed out because I have a hugh feeling she is going to back out at the last minute. Another thing before all this she called me to say she didnt have money to pay off her dress which I offered to pay the remaining balance….I understand her situation and feel for her, I really do. But I also feel that it was even more wrong for her to commit to something so important and back out. This has been a bitter experince and honestly I just want to get rid of the entire wedding party. I’m so over it and so emotionally worn out with all of this. Our wedding is at the end of September. What should I do. Kick my Maid/Matron of Honor out right now before she backs out? At least I will have time to figure out what to do…HELP!
