- Wedding: October 2010
Hi, I am the Mom of the Bride! My daughter Erika isn’t very creative and I’m trying to help her pull of a beautiful wedding on a budget. Here are the details so far:
Date: 10.2.10. 6:30pm Wedding at the historic St. Mary’s Chapel in Charlotte, NC
Reception at 8:0pm at the Charlotte Trolley Museum (http://www.charlottetrolley.org) Heavy hordourvres only, full bar and DJ….
Wedding Dress: Ivory colored David’s Bridal Galina Signature Style: SML9790
Bridesmaid: Short black dresses with Black Bolero jacket
Her accent color is red. She loves the ostrich feathers, loves glam and has a fun and chic personal style.
The Trolley Museum is a very ‘blank’ open space, lots of windows with a view of uptown Charlotte. Very high open ceilings..exposed pipes etc, loft style. Sealed cement floors. Blank painted white brick walls. It’s an older building. There is an antique Trolley off to the side of the room which guests can sit in. The room is very blank and all the exhibits can be moved out to clear the room and they have tables and chairs available to use.
So, we need ideas, decorating schemes, STD ideas. We plan to DIY as much as possible.
So, not sure if anyone has any ideas…we are just starting to plan.
Thanks in advance!
