Wow, that yellow, black and white looks fab! I never even thought of that combo until I saw those pics, and now I have them stashed away for further inspiration.

I’m not sure about the Maid/Matron of Honor dress to be honest. I think compared to the rest of the wedding party she’ll stick out. It just doesn’t really match.

Go for the pattern! It’s cute, fun, and I think it’d be perfect for your summer wedding. I would add yellow with accessories, bouquets, and/or jewelery.

By The Way – is the Maid/Matron of Honor wearing that dress you showed in picture?  If so, I’m not sure it’ll go with the rest of the dresses.  It’s more formal and elegant.

I love the black and white dresses!  A yellow waistband will be nice.  I think the yellow shoe clips will be overkill.  I’m assuming you’re going to have yellow bouquets.  If you do, you’ll probably end up with 3 different shades of yellow.

I’m confused about your Maid/Matron of Honor dress.  I agree the green/blue dresses are much more formal than the black and white dresses.  They don’t go together at all.  If you want your Maid/Matron of Honor to stand out, how about putting her in the same dress with a different color waistband and maybe a different bouquet as well?

I wouldn’t do two different large scale prints. It would be too busy for my taste.

If you can’t find a dress for the Maid/Matron of Honor in the same print, I would find a very small scale print  or have her in solid black.

I think yellow flowers would be enough. They will start looking a little bumblebee-ish if you add hits of yellow in too many places.

I would do plain black shoes.

Before reading the rest of the posts, my first reaction was “I love the bottom print dresses in pic 3.  I so hope OP chooses those”.

My personal opinion is that the Maid/Matron of Honor should be in the same length dress as the BM’s.  To me, it looks off when it’s that different.  Other than that, I love the colors!

it looks great!  i would skip the yellow sash if you’re going to do yellow flowers though…either do a black sash or none at all, because i think yellow flowers are going to blend into the sash.  maybe do the sash for the reception only?

I love this! I never even thought about pattern for dresses, but that looks awesome. I agree with others- put Maid/Matron of Honor in same dress or a solid black dress. 2 prints would be a bad idea and the green dress ( even if it was black) doesn’t match.

Fantastic idea! I think the b&w pattern looks beautiful.

Are you saying that the BM’s will wear short dresses and the Maid/Matron of Honor will wear a long dress? I think that looks weird. I’d stick to the same dress for all of them, and maybe only add the yellow waistband to the Maid/Matron of Honor and just stick to yellow flowers for the rest.

I think it will get to be too matchy if you do yellow waistband, yellow shoe clips, yellow flowers,  on all of them. Keep it simple.
