(Closed) Black and white theme for the ceremony and b & w with color for reception?

I don’t think so.  Though black and white carried through to the reception would be a pretty swanky look if you make it a black tie or white tie dress code!

@peachbaby4008:  I’m also going to suggest something potentially outrageous – you could make your wedding black and white, and make the dress code black tie, and ask that women should wear either a white or a black dress, and then you can wear a colourful gown, and be the only one in colour.

It may well not be for you, but I think it would be a brilliant, and elegant, concept for the right bride.

I think that adding some color bumps it up to a party atmosphere! I love the idea of black white and purple 🙂
