My Fiance asked a question the other day that got me worried. I asked my BMs to pick a black, floor length dress. Otherwise, it’s up to them. With most colors the mismatched look is fine, but he’s worried it won’t look good with black dress. Should I be worried?

My girls are in mismatched black dresses and I think that they look amazing together.

@tksjewelry: Do you happen to have a picture?

I LOVE black dresses! That’s what my girls will be in. I think you’ll be fine!

If anything, I think it’s even work out easier because it’s black! Black is a pretty standard color, unlike some other colors where you have a full range of mixes that girls could get caught up with (think of blue: baby blue, teal, navy, royal blue).
The only thing that could clash or look a little funky is if the girls get certain mixes of fabric. In other words, if you have 4 girls with a black cotton dress and one girl gets a black satin, it might look a little weird because the one dress would be shinier then others.

Thanks! Does anyone have pictures they could share?

we are doing knee length black dresses any style. It saved me the stress of having to find them… and most girls have a little black dress already

@Keltaena: I’m having a similar thing. My ladies will be in black, knee-length, non-satin dresses. And I’ll have pics in a few weeks. 😉
