@mrsmay07:  does the e-ring have black rhodium around the black diamonds (IE: The prongs?)

@mrsmay07:  that is awesome! I’m not sure I’d be brave enough for black rhodium on my e-ring! The black diamond was ‘risky’ enough (I loved it from the instant I saw it!)

@hiroshymatetrastar:  I love black rhodium, but I am terrified of it wearing off. At least it’s not the whole ring, just the prongs, but my black diamond band is not finished with black rhodium, and I think I prefer the black stones set in black rhodium for pave, I don’t know if I’d like it for a large solitaire..I love (nicely done) prongs, so it would be sad for them to blend in, lol.

@mrsmay07:  I have a necklace with black diamonds and black rhodium on it, the black rhodium has worn off, and I’ve only had it since christmas ๐Ÿ™

His tail is almost completely white gold now, his bell is completely white gold, and all of the prongs, except the ones by his head are white gold now.. I don’t want to take him back to be re-rhodiumed, I love him too much >,<

@hiroshymatetrastar:  That sucks ๐Ÿ™ I really hope mine lasts longer.

I know how you feel about not wanting to take it in to be redipped..I have a ring that’s a size too big, my Darling Husband bought the extended warrantly so resizing is free but it would take 2 weeks..so it hasn’t been done, the ring is 5 years old. ha ha.

@mrsmay07:  Yeah, I’m going to have to send my e-ring for re-rhodiuming for the wedding (they’ll have it for 2 weeks *cry*), because I have high acid in my skin, my band is almost yellow… I want it to photograph white…

@hiroshymatetrastar:

I feel your pain… if I wear ANYTHING that isn’t silver or gold my skin is green inside of 24 hours. My ring was gone for 2 weeks too but I got a silver band from a high street store for the interim and it worked out really well. I tried a plated one first but got a case of the dreaded green finger ๐Ÿ™

Heres mine! Sorry about the poor pic quality. You can see sharper pictures of just my e ring by itself under my e ring thread ๐Ÿ™‚
