@Jacqui90:  I second that! I think black diamond is fun to wear as RHR, or to dress up certain type of outfit (if you’re going for an edgier look). I’m happy with my purchase but I personally won’t use black diamond as my Engagement Ring….just saying :)))

@nkwu22:  yeah i’d love that as a RHR, i think i’ll stick with my yellow gold white diamond as my engagement ring 🙂

I think they are very in vogue due to the sex and city 2 movie….I really  do think they are very pretty….but I would personally not have one as an ering. they remind me of an onyx ring. They cost lots more than onyx but lack the sparkle of a white or yellow diamond.

I love them.  My wedding band has them in it.  I like unique stuff.

I”m not generally a fan; I think they’re cool as cocktail rings.  Some of the rings posted are quite pretty.  I love the Sex and the City one.  As an engagement ring, it seems like the sort of thing that would be changed a few years down the line.  I wonder how many ladies that opt for them will eventually change their stones for something more traditional.  But hey, I’m not wearing it, so what I think doesn’t matter if that’s what makes your heart sing.

Some of these rings are gorgeous!! black diamond , white diamond, belly button lint , whatever makes your heart sing – people saying its not an “engagement ring” need to get their head out of the sand IMO.

They are gorgeous, but probably something that is not for everyone, but then again, do you really want a ring that is so similar to everyone else’s?

I love them!  So pretty and unique!

Fergie got black diamond earrings for her birthday.  If they are good enough for her, they are good enough for me!  😉

Personally I love black diamonds.  I’m not a sparkly girl and there was no way that my fiance could trump the beautiful white diamond ring set in a square illusion setting that had a modern but antique feel to it.  Not on a student’s budget.

So for my engagement ring he purchased a 1/2 enhanced black diamond.  Modern enhancements are considered to be stable under normal wear and tear.  I love my ring–it’s simple and understated which fits me perfectly.

I love black diamonds and want to own a black diamond ring.  I think this is wonderful especially if you change out the inner stone and replace it with a white diamond.

This would be great to change up your daily look but guards/enchancers aren’t my thing and I already have a halo.

I must come back & share the black diamond version of my wedding band (I ended ended up choosing the blue diamond version of this same ring).
