I don’t like diamonds usually, but the black ones are quite cool, if they’re in the right setting. What I really like are raw diamonds. If you want sparkle or tradition, you won’t enjoy them. But if you want something totally different, unique, and incredibly beautiful, go for a raw diamond.

I’m not really a fan. Perhaps because I haven’t really seen any in person, but to me black diamonds don’t really look like “fine jewelry”.

I have seen some black diamonds that look better than others. I love the way black diamond look next to white diamond. I have a necklace that has both but I dont have it with me to take a picture of for you :(. You might not be able to find it in a ring but I am sure you can find necklaces or earings that way you will atleast have an idea of what your looking for

@miss sparkly cat:

This is what I was going to say. They look their best set with white diamonds In My Humble Opinion. It’s an interesting, atypical look!

I have a bunch of black diamonds. I love them. I will agree that they look best with white diamonds. I have rings, necklaces, and earings. (I sound like a spoiled brat lol)

@LMD84: My mother was a jeweler until she retired 2 years ago, so I got lots of free goodies 🙂 My fave though is a ring Darling Husband gave me as a wedding gift.

I’m intersted too to know if they’re as sparkly as other diamonds.

@Butterbee:

Black diamonds don’t sparkle from within like white diamonds. Their shine comes from a good cut and polish.

@Butterbee: No. Since they are so dark they don’t have the same reflection and sparkle quality.

I’ve tried a few of these on and they are by far my favorite but the ones I’ve tried on did not have any light pass through.

They are still amazing and if thats what you love go for it… I’m getting a 2nd (stackable) wedding band of black diamonds myself like this set!
