wow that dress is stunning! My mother might not like the idea of a black dress either. What can I say, I love black haha.

I am in love with a black dress too. My runner up dress:
Love it! If only my heart didnt belong to another ๐
@kitlaai: Me too. We might actually fight on this point because the more I look at this dress, the more I absolutely love it and must have it!!!
@Mrs Grape: I’m so glad that you felt happy and beautiful, as every bride should, on your wedding day ๐ I think I saw a pic you posted of a red skirt with a black sweater. If that was your wedding outfit, it looks so fun and cute and I’m sure you rocked it (and it sounds like you did) on the day ๐ Just please remind me of this and my moment of clarity when I do end getting my dress and I have people telling me how silly it is to get a black gown lol.
@MissComicBook: That dress is beyond divine… so divine in fact it’s making me rethink my first choice lol. I love love Romona Keveza.
I would wear it for a white tie event.. but not for my wedding. It is the one time that I can be a bride.. I want the fantasy.. the white dress. ..long veil .. everything! That being said.. those dresses are stunning
@MissComicBook: i say do it…. but surprise her! haha that’s what i plan on doing if i decide on black…. but i’m also in love with blush =/ beautiful dresses!
I want a pink and black lace dress for mine! Go colored dresses!!!!!
I dunno. I love coloured dresses, but I just don’t think black fits for a wedding. Red, pink, blue, purple, green, etc. are all fantastic though.
I love the second dress, but I’m a little too old-fashioned to wear it to a wedding. I’d love to wear it though to a ball or a gala dinner though.
Like PPs have said, they are gorgeous dresses for an event, not for a bride. Even if you aren’t a traditional bride, black is basically the polar opposite of what a wedding dress should be. I agree with the others who have said it reminds me of death. I also think if I wore a black dress, my Fiance would be really confused about what was going on. How does your Fiance feel about it? After all, it’s both of your day!
I think they’re lovely, although I’ve never considered wearing a totally black dress for my wedding, but then again I never considered wearing a white/ivory one either! My dress is a dark silver with black bows and lots of black organza frills, I love it even though its not traditional. Suprisingly I’ve had no resistance from any of my family over it, they’re all happy that I love it ๐
