I went a few times, and honestly I found it so crowded and overwhelming that I didn’t get as much accomplished as I thought I would.

I’ll probably do most of my shopping online this year, and I’ll definitely hit up a few local merchants around town.  I’m absolutely NOT shopping on Thanksgiving though.

@chelseakayd:  I went once a few years ago with my BFF. We ended up putting the few things we had back and going out for lunch. Ain’t nobody got time for ‘dat! I tried to convince FH that maybe we should go and see what kind of awesome sales there were on suits but that as a definite no.

@chelseakayd:  I already have most of my gifts purchased on Amazon.  So I will just be hanging out with family relaxing on Black Friday!

Black Friday horrifies me. Makes me want to hide under the bed.

@chelseakayd:  my dad, brother, and I usually go. We don’t usually purchase anything but rather we go and people watch and shake our heads at the mayhem. It’s more of a family bonding thing than an actual shipping trip for us. In the past few years nothing has seemed worth standing in line for.

Only online! Last year I got DH his iPad and a case for like $150 off!

And Amazon Black Friday deals are the best thing ever!

I will go for a little while, maybe 8 or 9am until about noon.  I just go if I see something I want or need that is a good deal.  I do not get in line to shop at 4am, no matter what.  The afternoon will be for basketball and football watching.

I went once.  Years ago.  Stood outside circuit city at 3am to buy DH (then SO) a video game.  I also had to report to work at 7am.  We’re in the market for some house stuff if depot or lowes is running a good promo we may go.  As far as shopping for others, I’ll be nearly done by then.

My mom and I usually go every year. Its so much fun and much more about the experience than the actual shopping. Getting up super early, shopping around and then going out to breakfast. Great memories. Not on Thanksgiving though, only on Friday.
