Unless the dress is short, no one will even see them. If you love the black, then go for it. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks and there is no etiquette rule against it.

I’m wearing black shoes since the only ones I can find that fit comfortably happen to be that color. No one has objected at all, not that I would change them if anyone did say something.

I have no Problem with black shoes but I always love the look of black/white contrast.

I don’t see why you couldn’t do it. Plenty of people wear colored shoes, why not go the opposite route? It’s your wedding, do what you want!

I’m wearing black shoes as well. Everyone thought it was a great idea! Black shoes, even dressy ones, are definitely something you’d wear again! 

Like someone else said, people go with pops of color for their shoes all the time, your pop of color just happens to be black.
