Check out Lord and Taylor.  They have an awesome selection of very beautiful full – length gowns

You can do “Rent the Runway”. My sister uses them all the time. YOu pick a dress and they send you 2 sizes to try

You can also try Nordstrom Rack (all sale items)

Sacks Off Fifth (also all sale items) – a lot of gowns for $150 and under

My mother bought a long, beaded grandmother of the bride gown, on clearance at Nordstroms. It was less than $150, so you probably can buy something suitable for less.

Another Nordstrom fan here! They have an amazing selection both in-store and online and frequent sales (or Rack.) Saks online sale selection can be great as well.

FutureMrsCoolWine:  I’m using Rent the Runway for my friend’s wedding next month and really excited!  The only I’m bummed about is not being able to keep the gorgeous dress afterwards!  I also am obsessed with Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor, def check them out!

FutureMrsCoolWine:  Thirding rent the runway. I used it for my sister’s engagement party and it was great. I’m a huge fan of how they give you an extra size for free because chances are you’ll fit into both but one will look better than the other. It’s huge piece of mind that you won’t have to run out at the last second and buy the first long gown that you see.

FutureMrsCoolWine:  Fourth for Rent the Runway! I’ve used it many times. The dresses are usually more inexpensive than buying (and really, when are you going to wear black tie again). Plus, their customer service is amazing!

Another vote for Rent the Runway! I’ve used it a lot for weddings and other parties, and I’ve always been so sad to send the dress back. Their customer service is amazing, and with the detailed fit information and pictures I’ve never had a problem with sizing. The prices are great for the quality of the dresses, and you get $25 off your first rental.

I don’t think renting will work out for me since I’m very short. Full length gowns are always too long for me. I don’t know how tall op is but keep this in mind when considering renting.
