(Closed) Black Tungsten Carbide/Black Zirconium question

As far as I know I think all tungsten and titanium rings come from the same source (company) and jewellers have little to do with them other than supply them as they can’t be resized, but they can be engraved. 

Maybe that’s why he didn’t know much? 
They can be coated with different things, check out etsy or ebay if you know what size you’re looking for.

I’m not sure about the black zirconium, but my friend’s husband got a black tungsten ring. He gained weight, can no longer wear it because it can’t be resized, and had to get a replacement ring. Other than that, I don’t think they have any problems. That being said, I loved the look of it when he did have it – just make sure your FH isn’t the type to gain/lose weight, or yo-yo. @Ambrocked: I’m not even sure he had it long enough to have it recoated. They were married a year last October and he was already on to the new ring. Sorry that’s not much help!
