Gorgeous! At one time, black wedding dresses were quite common and no one considered them funereal in the least. Not to mention, men always wear black and women are “expected” to wear black dresses to everything. Your wedding, your choice. If someone doesn’t like it, too bad. You have a beautiful combo and your guests will certainly remember it, which is a good thing.
Do what you feel comfortable with. Going along with the black theme I had to post this amazing dress that was on say yes to the dress a few seasons ago. Stunning.
It is a gorgeous gown, but I think this is a question for your fiance and your families. Since wearing black is usually associated with mourning, I think it’s important to make sure everyone understands where the black is coming from and that they’re on board with it. Since bling, animal print, and feathers are also part of your wedding, my guess is your family wouldn’t be phased by a non-subtle look at me dress, but I don’t think wearing black because it’s “hotter” would be worth hurt feelings of your fiance or his family. I’m all for people not caring what others think about their wedding because we all get a chance to do our own the way we’d like, but since it is such an unusual way to go, I’d make sure this won’t hurt any family relationships first.
There was a black wedding dress I saw on a wedding show once.. cant remember which one, but it was beautiful! Do it!
Definitely get it in black, and I love the silver shoes!
Va va voom! I say if it fits your personality and style, it looks fabulous in black!
I love it! I wish I were as daring as you! Love the dress paired with the rhinestone heels! Definitely looks HOT rather than “princess bride”
