So I just joined wedding bee as my wedding is fast approaching and I thought this is a good site to consult with fellow brides to be. I have been looking for wedding shoes for months now and really wanted a pair of Jimmy Choo’s or Louboutins but sadly havent seen any I liked. I came across these gorgeous Valentino satin pumps and immediately fell in love and purchased them right away. Now I’m having second thoughts because they’re black. I really love the big bling bow and I can definitely wear them over and over after the wedding. Please help…

I think they’re perfect! At the end of the day, not very many people see your shoes except for in pro pics and maybe a flash of them when you walk, so if you love a shoe, go for it! Black is perfectly fine, in my opinion. This from a bride who’s wearing blue Louboutins (as my something blue) when nothing else in my wedding is blue 😉 HTH!

If you love them, wear them. The contrast will be great in your pics.

Your shoes are FABULOUS!! I have black shoes too and am excited to wear them for the day. I love the “pop” they’ll bring!
Also, I saw your lastest post and just HAD to share my “something blue” in case you’re looking for ideas/inspiration. Fiance was VERY excited when he saw this come in the mail (he loves boy shorts though, too!). 🙂 (Hope not Too Much Information ):

@MadTownGirl: Awe thanks! They’re cute…lol. I’m thinking of just pinning a blue ribbon on my garter if I end up not finding something blue. The wedding ceremony is outdoor (overlooking the ocean) and my wedding planner only has a blue carpet to roll out for the aisle. Does that constitute as something blue or must I wear it? I’m so clueless!

I wore a pair of black patent slingbacks and they looked great as we had black accessories. I say go for it!
Oh…the “Two Ball’s” is my husbands nickname…he got a kick out of the lettering.
