haha, I just got to your last line and was thinking “HAIRCUT!”.

Not sure how long you’re going to be housebound, but I like to take a day to myself when I get like that – go for a movie or a meal alone, get a discount massage at the local massage school, pick a place within driving distance that I’ve never been, etc.

Working out always helps put me in a better mood and feel more energetic. Since you’re home during the day, maybe try picking up some DVDs from the library or hit up Walmart/Target (workout DVDs are fairly inexpensive). Zumba is good, and I also recently picked up the Dirty Dancing workout which is MAJOR fun!

Sounds like you just need to get out of the house been there done that. What did I do?   I found a neighbor that needed their dogs walked a couple times a day. I got paid a nominal amount of money, but I also got some exercise in the process. I also walked to the store and just window shoped. The biggest thing is keeping your schedule the same as it was before you lost/quit your job. Wake up take a shower and wear regular clothes (No SWEAT PANTS). It is easy to get into a routine of not taking care of yourself when you do not feel like you have a purpose. Oh and don’t watch too much Roseanne, she’ll get to you. 🙂
