We’re getting married outside in November, Fall is usually pretty warm here (60’s to even 70’s) but as someone who is always cold I don’t want my guests to be uncomfortable. I was thinking of getting a bunch of fleece blankets for my guests to use during the ceremony and they can keep them. I wanted to a sign with them with a cute saying or quote, any ideas of what I could put?

There was a gal on Four Weddings who had blankets at her ceremony, I think it was the new episode from last night. Sorry I can’t remember what her sign said, but maybe you could find the episode online?

Here’s some inspiration (I’m thinking of doing this, too, as April can be somewhat chilly here)

@PiggehBank: Thanks so much, that’s just what I needed! 🙂

OK, this is cheesy, and I’m the worst at non formal wording, but what about something regarding the love in our hearts is so warm, so we want you to be warm too?

@nyscpa2be: I’ve actually been googling ‘love quotes about warmth’ because that’s kinda of what I was going for, I guess I’m pretty cheesy lol. 🙂

We also had blankets for our outdoor winter wedding. I am not too sure how many you are planning on giving away but I thought I would share my experience.
I love the look of the basket with a saying but after purchasing the 65 blankets it was clear how much room they took up…. it was HUGE. I would have needed 4 hampers OR have someone keep filling 2 hampers which I didn’t like. Then we thought of placing them on the ceremony chairs. But how do we ensure everyone got them as we wanted to give 1 per couple/family so…… that wouldn’t work.
We finally decided to use them to wrap our welcome packages which we left in our guests rooms. I had a note to our guests with an itinerary that advised them to bring the blanket to the ceremony if they wish. I was SHOCKED by how many people actually used them. We were pretty happy!
Here is them wrapped up:
