(Closed) bleach and tone advice?

@nerdybird:  I’m a cosmetologist. I would try more of the violet base first. I’d be afraid the 7A will make it too dark to look llike highlights anymore. When toning highlights I usually use an 8 or 9. Also stick with the 10 volume. 20 will make it permanent. Good luck!

yep agree 10vol. also, have you tried some toning shampoos aswell??

@nerdybird:  If it were me in a jam I would probably do a majority of the 12AA and a “ribbon” of 7A (about 1/2 an inch worth) and the violet. You can always make it darker.

@nerdybird:  Ok, sorry I misunderstood what level you were trying to achieve, if you’re going for a dark blonde, the 7 is a good idea..I just don’t think you’ll need THAT much ash to cover a slightly peachy hue. I would honestly go out and get like a 7V. Violet will take care of the peach better than ash. Use ash if your hair has a stronger red tone.

 

eta: I just don’t want you to end up with grayish/greenish highlights!
