@sunshinebee:  the passing of clots doesnt sound good. I would be going into the ER since your doctor isn’t open yet. Or making an emergency appt ASAP

I had the same exact think happen around 10 weeks or so. Turns out my placenta was over my cervix, which is totally normal at the stage and usually moves up by 20 weeks, mine was just irritable and bled a lot. The clots were really scary but in the end everything was fine. i would definitely call your DR, though! I think passing clots are on the list of “call right away”.

@sunshinebee:  this happened to me in my 2nd pregnancy around 7 weeks. I cramped HARD and bled and passed clots so much so that I was certain it was a miscarriage. I went to ER they did US and found my baby at the top of my uterus, strong heartbeat, everything was just fine! The best explanation I got was that I probably conceived late cycle and my body was ridding itself of material not needed for the pregnancy. I went on thru the pregnancy with literally NO other problems And my daughter was delivered full term 1 day shy of the due date.

I would advise another ultrasound ASAP and make every effort to rest and get your feet up as much as possible until you are given the all clear otherwise. Very best wishes for you & the bean!

@sunshinebee:  Clots are always a concern in my mind, whether you’re cramping or not, so if today you are clotting or last night were passing them, I would call them just to be sure.
