I think the tour idea is more personal than the Alice in Wonderland theme.  I feel like I’ve seen the Alice thing done before.

I think you can do an Alice theme, but still name the tables & placecard/favors after the places you met. If EVERYTHING else is Alice themed, people will get it without having to have coordinating table names.

It sounds like he’s really thought about it, and it’s really sweet.  You can still do the wonderland theme, it’ll just be more of a hana.schmitt and beau theme too πŸ™‚

I really like the tour idea with the table names like your fiance suggested.

It’s your wedding so do what you want but I’m worried that your Alice theming will end up more kid’s birthday party instead of wedding.  Just my opinion, of course.

@hana.schmitt: Hi Date Twin! Your Alice in Wonderland theme sounds amazing! I like the tour/airport idea for the table names though; it’s really personal. We’re doing something kind of similar in that we’re naming our tables after places we visited on the camping holiday we went on in Cornwall when we got engaged.

I think you should go for your FH’s idea.

Then it will be wonderful combination of the 2 of you: Alice elements for you, Trek elements for him; plus the past you two have shared together in the airport names.

I love it!! I wanted to do something like that too, and even thought about the eat me/drink me idea too, with cupcakes but then, as ideas run their course, I ended up with an enchanted forest/natural-but-glitzy theme instead somewhere along the way. I think you’ll definitely be able to fit your table names into the theme and it’ll be awesome.
