Hi everyone!
I’m posting like a mad woman here this week, but I thought it would be fun to start a little ring smackdown poll! I’m trying to decide between two very similair settings, and if there’s anyone’s opinion I trust in the matter, it’s the beehive’s! 😉
I might do a series with different style rings if it proves fun for some people, but today is all about solitaires!

Definitly the Mark Morrell petite torchiere! But I just love all of mark Morrell ‘s settings.

I like that the base on the Petite Torchiere is more narrow (does that make sense) and more dainty from the side view.

I prefer Vatche’s Swan simply because I prefer cathedral settings. Both are gorgeous though!!!

Great thread and you picked two of my favourite setting that I’ve mentally debated before. So…
Although I love, love, love the swoop of the Vatche prongs, the secret diamonds spoil it a bit for me and compromise the fluidity and elegance. Can’t fault the petit torchiere except for the fact that I prefer my wedding band flush, a problem with both setting probably.
I voted for the Mark Morrell. Would turn my nose up at either though.

kxk5420: I LOVE Vatche settings and the Swan is one of my faves. The surprise diamonds on the MM are more dainty and petite, but I love the band on the Swan, so I voted for that.

In person, the finish of the MWM ring is far superior.
