i die over brown hair. i have such brunette envy! + its about to be winter! [red too, but i could never pull that off]
husband has never seen my hair darker than the ombre last spring. but he claims that in old pictures, he loves the dark! my hair was always blonde growing up. then my roots started going brown, and i got made fun of it SO bad in middle school. i was queen of natural ombre hair. but of course ombre wasnt in. so when that happened, i went brown for a while but right back to blonde. of course these pictures are from all different ages spread out but what can ya do?
if i go darker, ill get a professionals opinion of course to see which matches my skin tone best? but i am just clueless.
WHAT TO DO!
[heres what i like!]

Go dark with subtle ombré like the last pic of Jessica BIel

I would say start with a lighter ombre now, and then work yourself to a darker ombre over time. Can I just say that I think you have a beautiful smile, and I love how it reaches every part of your face – it’s really infectious!

I think you should go darker

Ugh, I’m dying over how cute you are in all your photos!!
I have always loved Jessica Biel’s ombre and also Lily Aldrige’s, but I really think you look the best with your blonde ombre. I think it really suits your skintone and it immediately makes you look more sophisticated than cute like the all over blonde.

I like the darker (honey?) blonde that you have in the photos where your husband is wearing the plaid shirt. You could get some light brown lowlights in it for the winter to darken that color, too.

I think you would make a gorgeous brunette, like Lauren Conrad!

try it dark with highlights.
i figure, it’s hair, if you don’t like it, you change it.

@wifegoodman: Anything you do, I’d suggest doing gradually. I think a light brown would look nice on you. It wouldn’t be a shocking change, and if you want to go even darker, you can. Going from blond to dark brown would be a shock.
