It was black when he met me almost 6 years ago, and he always talks about how much he loves my hair and the combination of dark hair with blue eyes (which I have). MemberMy Fiance is a fan of porecelain white skin and dark hair. I prefer being tan and having highlited/blond hair. But I have met him in the middle and stopped tanning but I still like having light colored hair. I am a natural brunette, though. I do love my brown hair but I like the change.

Member@futuremrsbc: This is actually a matter of mathematics and statistics. The percentage of brunettes in the world is significntly higher than any other haircolor. The majority of inidividuals in most ethnic groups are brunette: Indian, Middle Eastern, Persian, Asian, Pacific Islander, African, Hispanic. Blondes and redheads are extremely rare in those ethnic groups. If most of the women in the world have dark hair, it goes without saying that most men in the world will date and marry women with dark hair. It would be statistically IMPOSSIBLE for the majority of men to be with anything but brunettes. Any study ever conducted will prove that men marry more brunettes, simply because more brunettes exist. So far as what men prefer- I think that any smart man will tell the woman that he loves that he prefers her. I also think that most people grow to sincerely prefer the features of whomever they fall in love with. All of that said, hair turns heads everywhere I go.
MemberI have the same problem- but opposite. I’m blonde. FI said he prefered brunettes until he met me. So he probably still does prefer brunettes haha
MemberI get hit on by more guys as a blonde than I ever did as a brunette. I think my guy doesn’t care though, he just likes attractive women.
MemberDH does not like blondes. He likes more ethnic looks like Jessica Alba (when she has darker hair) or Vanessa Minnillo-Lachey. He is Asian, so like PP have said… maybe he’s just predisposed to like darker coloring? Although, he actually doesn’t like most full Asian celebrities because he thinks they are not curvy enough so… I dunno.
FWIW, I’m full Asian but I got a little junk in the trunk…
MemberSO finds blondes super attractive, but track record wise he’s dated brunettes. I’ve joked when we get hitched I’ll start slowly going more blonde to keep up with my trophy wife status…LOL
