I bought two equate blue dye tests yesterday at 9DPO. I took one yesterday afternoon and I swear I saw the faintest line ever. I was shocked, because I was 99% positive it was going to be a stark white BFN. I’ve had no symptoms except a bit of sore boobs (which I always get a few days before AF)It was too faint to even post. I saw the line after about 3 minutes. Of course, when I googled blue dye test, I saw so many negative reviews so I’m really trying to not get my hopes up. This morning, I used FMU and tested with the second blue dye test. I saw another line after a few minutes, but again it was really really light. I *think* it was tiny bit darker than yesterday’s but not too noticeable. I’m freaking out and I really don’t want to get my hopes up. My question is, for those of you who have taken blue dye tests, is the test window always stark white when it’s negative ? I took a pink dye one last week when I thought I Oed earlier than I actually did and the test window was completely white. No mistaking any color there. The blue dye one definitely had an extremely faint faint line, but now I’m second guessing it.
I know the only way to know is to use another one (pink or digital) I plan on testing digitally tomorrow with FMU, but in the meantime, I need some sense talked into me!
I decided to attach a photo. I know it looks so white in the picture, but in real life, I can see a line. This is the lighter one from yesterday at 9dpo

I see the line eeeek! I dont have experience with the blue dye tests but I would run out and grab a pink one ASAP and retest! FX!!

AH. I just want to go home and test. Maybe Ill do one tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow.

Get a Dollar Store test! Theirs are pink dye and really reliable.

I used a blue dye test and got an obvious positive! only took it that one time, so I’m not sure about your question on the negative tests.

I’m definitely picking up a dollar store test and maybe a digital one. I feel like I can’t even see the line in the picture I posted but I know I saw it in real life. I’m still not convinced at all, but fx.

Update. Just tested again at 10DPO with FRER
I seriously do not believe my eyes. My husband is away for the night so I have to wait until tomorrow to share my excitement with someone in real life. This was our first month trying and my cycles have always been long and irregular so I never expected this on the first try. Trying to contain my excitement!
