(Closed) Blue mason jars, and directions to make that will hold water?

@alyssars1:  What’s too expensive? I got 16 Quart sized ones at $5 a piece on eBay, so if that’s less than what you were quoted maybe try eBay? If not, do the Mason Jars have to be blue? New clear ones are very affordable, and maybe you want wrap some blue lace around them?

@alyssars1:  you could find small clear glass tumblers , and use those as a mini vase inside the mason jars. The water and the flowers are then separated from the blue coloring.

Why don’t you get those things that go on the end of the flowers and hold the water? Or line it with a clear bag that will hold the water?

2013 is the 100 year anniversary of Jarden Ball mason jars and so they have come  out with a package of 6 pint size BLUE jars for about $10. I found them at  Sears. Get them while they last!

Can you just die the water blue to get a similar effect??
