can you imagine typing in your credit card information and spending that much online?? I’d just buy it from a jeweler I could actually talk to. That is a huge chunk of cash

Yeah I think it’s weird when people buy diamonds that expensive online. I mean you’re spending 122k, why not buy in person? Lol. I guess wealthy people like bargains too 🙂 My guess though, is that they’re purchasing it in the simple setting to propose, and then whoever the lucky lady is can choose her own setting! And SI clarity surprises me, not because I think it’s “bad” but if I was spending that much I would probably getting higher clarity. At least they got ideal cut–I would roll my eyes if someone spent that much and got a “good” cut!

lol I thought that you bought this, I was about to say congrats! That ring is amazing, I think it would be way too big and heavy for my finger though!

@highschoolhoneys:  They do bank transfers (my ring was over DH’s credit limit, but FAR less than that and that was his big question). I can’t imagine spending that though!

@BlondeMissMolly:  i agree.

it’s a beautiful ring but i noticed much better quality stones of similar size for less.

That is nothing compared to some of the crazy rings I’ve seen over there…the real nuts ones are “Price Undisclosed”. Innocent

@BlondeMissMolly:  lol, +1. Yeah, it’s a huge, expensive D Ideal cut, why couldn’t they have just shelled out a little bit more for VS2 or higher clarity at that point? I know I’d personally rather “compomise” and go down in size a little bit for at least VS2. I’m sure it’s still pretty, though!
