My engagement ring came from Blue Nile. We are truly pleased with the quality.

My ring came from James Allen and we couldn’t be happier.  We did a lot of research before choosing JA. We looked at brick and mortar chains as well as mom and pop places and several online retailers.  Ultimately we went with JA for 2 reasons.  1, I fell in love with their .32 ct French cut pave setting.  And 2, we could sort and see 360 20X magnification on EVERY diamond.  Their customer service was great and their lifetime service guarantee is on par with the rest of the industry.  And bottom line, I love my ring and get compliments on it weekly.

My fiancé went through blue nile and chose one where you could see the 360 of the diamond. He said the first diamond he chose they emailed and told him it didn’t pass their quality checks and was given a free upgrade for the inconvenience which I thought was good!

I love my ring, I’m really impressed with the quality!

I got my ring from James Allen and I absolutely love it but I am a little concerned about maintaining the micro pave band. If we purchased the ring from a local jewelry store, I’d be able to drop by for cleanings and routine maintenance. I have no intention of sending my ring away for weeks at a time.

Both from James Allen  top: Fancy Light Grey brilliant and bottom: Fancy Light Green-yellow cushion. I am very pleased with James Allen and will continue to purchase from them, love me them colored diamonds. 💍😊

I have a small brilliant from Blue Nile but doesn’t even compare to pieces I’ve gotten from JA, even the costs and customer service are better with JA.

NinjaBee :  Always been a fan of your grey but for my covetous little heart, that green diamond ring is the absolute, unmitigated, most droolable ring on the bee. I love me your coloured diamonds as well!

Goirishgrl :  Would you mind sharing additional stats about your ring? It’s one of the most striking princess cuts I’ve seen, and that’s my favorite cut. I can never tell if it is color or clarity or cut or size that makes a ring just a “wow” ring, but yours has a wow factor. Could you tell me more about its details? It is really beautiful!

notmeeither :  Oh my, you’re so sweet!  Thank you.  Its a 1.3 ideal cut H color VS2 clarity.

As with any shape diamond, cut is king.  Regardless of the other characteristics, if a diamond is poorly cut its not going to sparkle, and in the end the sparkle is where its at in my opinion.

We had a great experience with Blue Nile.  Purchased my engagement ring, wedding band and even a just because right hand ring for this past Christmas.

My engagement ring is from blue Nile. Darling Husband said he had a great experience with them. And it was about 1/2 the cost of what a diamond of this quality would cost in store. Highly recommend!

I decided to get my engagement ring from James Allen.  I did research before my fiance and I decided to go ring shopping and I read that buying online was the most affordable way to go.  I checked out Blue Nile but James Allen has a larger variety of rings and more affordable diamonds.  I also liked that I can zoom in to the diamond and get a better look at it.  I am very safisfied and plan on getting my wedding band from James Allen.

I was in Helzberg last night looking at wedding bands and I have to say that the rings were gorgeous.  The brick and mortar stores do a lot with smaller center stones.  Their settings are really beautiful and if you’re looking for something more ornate for a decent price…you can’t go wrong with one of those stores.  I wanted a really beautiful, GIA certified round diamond.  I wanted more value which is why we decided to buy online.  My setting is a simple pave but I know I have a great center stone.  We would have paid an astronomical price for my diamond at one of those stores.  The sales clerk was almost convinced it was a moissanite because it was so clean and bigger than what they usually carry.  She asked to put it under the microscope and was shocked when she saw the GIA laser inscription.
