I was wondering if there is a rule on what colour wedding shoes you can wear?
My wedding colours are cranberry and plum and my original intention was to wear red heals. However I absolutely love these cobalt blue wedges! However I’m not sure if I can wear cobalt blue shoes if my colours are cranberry and plum.
What do you bees think? Red heals or cobalt blue wedges?

You can wear whatever you want! There’s no rule about shoe color. Either color would look great with your theme, it sounds like.
I do think the blue ones have a more rustic vibe, with the suede and the wood heel. The red ones are fancier. So it depends on your dress, ultimately….and on what you feel like wearing!

I say where the cobalt and make it your “something blue”

Both look great! I’d say maybe the red given the theme colors but what the hell do I know! :p Go with what’s most you! Can I ask where you found these blue shoes? One of my colors is cobalt blue and I’m looking for a comfort shoe (not crazy tall). Thanks!

Ya! The blue shoes are from payless. I’m not sure if payless exists in the US. But that’s where they are from. Only $30!

I like the heel on the red better, so I voted for it! Plus, it’s similar to my pink wedding pumps. 🙂

It could be your “Something Blue”! And I say do whatever you want! People are only going to see your shoes unless you show them, or once you have your pictures back and your photog captured it! =) Go with comfortable and cute!

Hmm, I still don’t know. I have a pair of red shoes already – they are red pumps with a bow. I think I’ll buy the blue ones anyways since they are so cheap and put the decision off a while… see what strikes my fancy closer to the date.
Thanks everyone for all the advice!!

What is your colour theme?
Maybe you should pick a shoe colour that matches the bridesmaids dresses?

Unless you have a short dress, no one will ever see your shoes. If you love the blue shoes, then wear them. Also, they can be your “something blue” regardless of your color choice.
