If you have a good local jeweller they will be able to weigh it and measure it, which would give you sizing. They may not be able to tell you with certainty what stone it is, but worth a try.

You can google “your city GIA jewellery” and a few hits should come up.

3bree23 :  Is there not a jewler in town who can set that stone for you? I’ve read and seen on WB some pretty wonky settings and bad customer service from MoCo even IF they’ll set that stone for you I wouldn’t choose them.

A local jeweler can weigh and measure it. Depending on the jeweler and the stone, they may be able to identify it based on any inclusions. That said, I wouldn’t set that stone. The cut is poor and it has a large window. You can find much better gemstones online at very affordable prices.

3bree23 :  ok this makes much more sense to me! I’m from a large city and there are jewlers EVERYWHERE. Good luck with your search.

Might you consider Brilliant Earth? They have natural diamonds, lab diamonds, natural gemstones, lab gemstones, and moissenites. They also have some DREAMY settings. FH went custom for my ring from a local jewler in our city, but my brother got Future Sister-In-Law a ring from Brilliant Earth and it is to die for!!!
