I suggest taking a OTC pregnancy test just to see.

We all have blue veins – you’re just worried because they’ve suddenly become more prominent. Maybe it’s a blood pressure problem? Try out one of those machines in the drug stores.

Ask your SO/DH/DW/whoever if it looks concerning to them. Sometimes we get really obsessive with body changes when TTC. Maybe what you’re seeing isn’t really all that abnormal – it’s good to get a second opinion. If SO thinks it looks weird – go to the doctor. That’s really the only thing that’s gonna give you piece of mind. A bunch of opinions from strangers on the internet is not gonna make you feel better.

MrsWizard:  The veins on my chest are sometimes much more visible than others.  I havent figured out what triggers the change in colour but some days it looks like I have a roadmap across my chest.

MrsWizard:  My veins are usually more prominent when I’m dehydrated. Could this be the cause?

MrsWizard:  Don’t wanna get your hopes up but this was my very first sign of pregnancy with DD! I noticed how dark and prominent the veins in my chest were, FX for you!!

MrsWizard:  I don’t really remember, but whatever makes them prominent in your chest could very well make them prominent on your abdomen. When is AF due? Maybe try a FRER tomorrow with FMU?

MrsWizard:  I don’t want to give you false hope… But that was the only symptom I had. I cant remember if they were low on my stomach but there were some showing lower. I have darker skin, so I’m not sure mine would be as visible as if you had fairer skin though. My Dr told me it happens during pregnant because your body starts pumping extra blood.  Good Luck 🙂
