I am using mismatched Blue Willow pattern china containers as my centerpieces (see pic). For floral arrangements, I’m thinking hydrangeas (white and periwinkle) and yellow tulips as my colors are periwinkle and yellow. I’m having a spring wedding and wanted to see if any other bees have done this theme, or if not…have any other ideas? I’m definitely curious about other options besides flowers but to use these containers? I’m on a budget and I’m worried that it could get pretty costly, even though they are in season. Please let me know any thoughts or share your experiences, if you’d be so inclined. Thanks!!

Bakerella did tea pots, not the same, but similar in costs I would imagine. You might PM her and ask about them.

I also love Blue Willow, I have my grandmother china which is similar and it is my favorite thing I own.

This sounds gorgeous! I did some quick searching on pinterest and here are some inspiration pics I found 🙂
I don’t know what kind of flowers the little blue ones are, but this is pretty!
They used hydrangeas and rose petals (!)
Gorgeous!I think those are cream colored roses. But they show cool ways to incorporate similarly printed fabric.
Very country-chic- you could use chalkboards (for table numbers) and just greenery (very cheap!) Maybe with mustard napkins?
A little brighter! You could even fill the china/tea cups with bright candies and have it double as your favor. Or do little cupcakes in lieu of cake.

For our original August wedding we had thought about doing sunflowers with blue willow but since yours is a spring date i think the softer scheme will be gorgeous – I could also see a coral with the blue willow if you wanted deeper color.
Here was my original inspiration board
