I’m learning to turn to Wedding Bee for advice because so many of you are going through this right now.
We are moving our wedding from April 2017 to October 2016, I had planned on doing blush bridesmaid dresses with Navy Groomsmen in Savannah at an outdoor wedding/reception. However since we’re moving it to the fall I’m wondering if I’m supposed to rethink my bridesmaid dress color to Navy and do my groomsmen in grey. I would rather not, but It “goes with the seasons”

christinalred: My groomsmen are wearing navy suits and the girls are in pale pinks and blues in a late Sept wedding. There are not set rules. Do what you want.

You have the navy which fits well for fall. The blush would be lovely with that. Just because its fall doesnt mean you have to add all dark colors. Im mixing pale colors with darker colors for our Oct. 2016 wedding.

christinalred: I am having my wedding in October and Blush is my Bridesmaid or Best Man color right now— although I will admit that I am considering having them wear a deep raspberry color….

I did this. It doesnt matter! I pulled in a deep color (eggplant) in the florals but mostly everything was blush/ivory/gold. Including the BMs.

I say go for it. And honestly, in certain areas it’s still “warm” in October (weather wise)…so blush still works 🙂

It will look great! I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this fall that will have blush dresses. The bride is using lots of greenery to make it a bit more fall-like. It’ll be great!
