Hi Bes!
Iv had such a hard time finding a dress…. tried on over 20. I found “the one” the other day and purchased it but now Im second guessing my self. Its a essence of australia dress in the color ivory over moscato. Im just worried it will look to pink. I didnt get a chance to try this exact dress on in ivory but I did try many others on and just didnt love them. Will i regret this later down the line?

Ummm, no you won’t regret it!! You look drop dead gorgeous! I’d wager the ivory was underwhelming because the color wasn’t as flattering on you?

When I was considering a blush dress I was told by the staff at the bridal salon that even a blush color will look a lot lighter in photos due to lighting and whatnot and you would probably only notice the color more in photos as it was getting darker in the evening. Even the dress in the pics you posted looks very light, almost “oatmeal” in color. I think the dress is just absolutely gorgeous. In any case, I feel like blush tones flatter a good variety of skin tones and I think that color looks great on you. I love blush champagne colored wedding dresses though, so I am a tad biased. 🙂

You definitely look bridal. especially with the veil. And the skirt definitely pretty much screams “wedding gown” :p. It is a unique gown. You don’t want any ol’ dress that looks like anyone elses :).

My dress was blush and I have no regrets. Your dress is beautiful. I’m not sure what kind of proms you have been to, but that dress is very bridal and would be way too much for a prom (IMO)

macgirl : You look incredibly. That’s a gorgeous color for your skin/hair tones. Go for it! Be off beat! Of all the brides I’ve personally known, the ones that chose something different over traditional did not regret it, but some who opted for traditional to be “safe” did regret not getting what they really wanted…
