Hi! A quick question; I’m getting married in May and currently looking at dresses. I have seen the above dress and think I have fallen in love. It’s a small relaxed wedding with friends and family, second time for both of us so no huge affair. What do we think of the dress? Anyone else considering a non traditional dress? Xx

For our civil wedding, I’m actually wearing an ivory dress from a “bridesmaid” selection. What I mean is even though I’m still getting an off white dress, I’m not getting the heavy traditional wedding dress with boning, corset, lots of underskirt layers, etc. Curls122 :

That is very beautiful! I wore a not so traditional dress for my nuptials as well, we did a very small intimate ceremony 6 people all together including us, then did a luncheon (reception) with our closest friends and immediate family that lived near. My dress was ivory/champagne and it was just a formal a-line/ballgown from Macy’s online! I ordered 4 dresses total, that was the 3rd one I tried on!

Thanks ladies, I’m just deciding on size now. I have 19 weeks until my wedding; do you think it’s worth sizing down or staying as is?

Lovely dress. It’s easier to take a dress in than let one out so that’s something to keep in mind.
