Hello Fellow Bees!
I I am having quite the dilemma deciding on bridesmaids dresses! My dress is blush with a white overlay and white lace straps. i really want my wedding to have a formal whimsical feel. I’m thinking of doing this for my bridesmaids’ dresses. I have 8 bridesmaids. Thoughts?
Here is the dress I’m thinking of for all the bridesmaids

I’m not a huge fan of the dresses. When I see blush bridal gowns, I think pastel and light bridesmaid dresses, like light blues. I think a beige color would look good too. Just my opinion! And I’m also not a pattern lover, but if you are, then do it!

The floral dress you picked is pretty, it also depends on whether your girls would like it because they’re the ones wearing it! Before I saw your pick, I was imagining silver / gray / purple gowns for your girls

Hi Bee! I have a champagne gown and my bridesmaids are wearing navy dresses with nude shoes. Im personally not a huge fan of print bridesmaid dresses but I think the one you picked would go well with your dress 🙂

for a formal, whimsical feel I would suggest white or ivory short dresses for your bridesmaids.

That dress is GORGEOUS! I, personally, don’t like printed bridesmaids dresses like that. Not on 8 people. Your dress is beautiful and should be the star! I’d stick to a simpler dress for your bridesmaids and let the details bring the whimsy.
I think you could capture whimsy by picking a color and letting your girls select their dresses, then using the bouquets/hair/venue decorations, etc. to really give it the vibe you want.

Personally, I like black or gray for blush (or white or ivory). Personally, I think it looks classic and elegant. Pops of color can come from flowers or other places.
The floral dress is pretty, but it doesn’t look very formal to me.

I LOVE floral bridesmaids dresses!

I think the printed bridesmaids dresses are pretty, but I don’t think they go with your dress and I don’t think they achieve the “whimsical” look you’re going for. I would look for something in a complimentary pastel or light color (blue perhaps?).

Love your dress! My dress also has a similar color, but it has more of that “antique, rose gold” with ivory. I’m putting my bridesmaids in different shades of blue, probably on the lighter side. I personally don’t think pattern dresses look good for a wedding so go for a solid pastel color!

I would say either gold, or ivory

As at least one PP has said, I was also envisioning gray or silver dresses.

I work in bridal and have done many bridal parties with a blush wedding gown and these are the colors I have seen be very successful…

I love floral bridesmaid dresses, however I don’t love the one you posted. Maybe ones with a more muted pattern would work better? With 8 ladies I dont think you would want a really loud pattern. Another idea would be a floral skirt and solid top?
