- Wedding: May 2017 - Canvas Event Space
When I got engaged I realized how strong my opinions were on wearing whatever colour (and outfit) you want on your wedding day. At that point I wanted a blush dress for so long that I couldn’t even imagine having a white dress. That being said, even I had moments where I *wondered* if I would regret not wearing white/ivory and tried on many and even really considered a few but *knew* I’d regret not having an element of colour.
If you love it, I really can’t imagine you’ll regret it for a second. It looks amazing on you.

I love the white-top-with-blush-skirt look. You get the edginess of color with the skirt….but you get to keep the traditional soft feminine WHITE of the top. I think it’s a good compromise and I don’t think you will regret it.

juli62613 : I just saw your pictures! This is 100% your dress!! You are absolutely glowing!! I’m not planning on a petticoat. I don’t think it needs it. I did do a small bussle in the back though for dancing and that gave it even more puff. 🙂

you look stunning! I purchased the same dress and I can not wait to wear it. Also in moscato. Moscato all the way!

I love it. I am partial to it because mine is blush as well. Honestly, the blush looked WAY better against my skin tone than white, so why would I wear white when it would just be for traditions’ sake? The goal is to look and feel like the best version of yourself for when you say I do. I say no regrets. Also, and this is not meant as a slight to everyone else in white, but every time I meet with a vendor and show them my gown the get SUPER excited because it is a departure from what they see literally every weekend. The LOVE getting to do a wedding where the dress is not conventional white. Not that it matters much but still. If it speaks to your personality, go for it. It certainly spoke to mine. And I can’t wait to put it on again 🙂
