@seree: You’re welcome. I re-read my response, and I realized it came off a bit flippant/dismissive. I promise that was not the intent! My “who cares?” attitude was directed at the hypothetical guests who would. I don’t want it to seem like your concerns aren’t valid simply because they address color scheme matters. 🙂

It will be aso BEAUTIFUL!

@MlleFabuleux: No no, you didn’t come across as dismissive at all! You just reminded me that when I started my wedding planning, I decided I wouldn’t obsess over tiny details or what everyone else thinks, and that I would just do it our way. It’s nice to have someone tell me that I actually can have it my way, rather than constantly stressing out about stuff that, in the grand scheme of things, isn’t going to make or break my wedding! 🙂

@seree: Oh good. And you can have it your way. I dare someone to tell me on my wedding day that my blush dress is too pink/yellow for the decor! They’d look ridiculous and nitpickingly petty

I think it will just look like you love pink. I dont see anything wrong with that. I love your colors btw

@gelaine22: Aww thanks 🙂 We really wanted a fun, vibrant, summery wedding, and I feel like these colours are summer all over!

@seree: it’s your day, follow your vision!

@seree: Ok–I am a lover of blush dresses and fuschia. So you and I together are gonna make this work! haha
Here’s what I believe is essential to this color combo:
The blush dresses I’ve seen on WB have yellow undertones. The pink color is tinged with peach and if that’s not just my monitor, then that’s the color family you work with: pink, red, yellow.
Notice that the (fabulous by the way!) photo of white chairs lined up outdoors shows chair cushions in Hot Pink and Yellow. That Hot Pink Color is a dark pink with–again–the yellow undertones.
So many fuschias have blue undertones and THAT WILL CLASH!!!! Make sure that you get the right color of Hot Pink.
I’m not sure that some of the fuschias in the photos you show are the right shade.
Buy your dress first, and once it’s clear which undertone it has, you’ll know which shade of fuschia to go it.
I love this big bright energetic color scheme!
